IL&FS Skills delivers intensive programmes to create gainful employment opportunities for rural youth living below the poverty line (BPL). We offer exclusive programmes on education and skills for the rural BPL youth belonging to the minority community.
Our Skills initiatives specifically are based on a unique public private partnership (PPP) based programme that creates training aligned to specific skill requirements of industries and enables poverty alleviation by creating employment opportunities through employment linked skill upgradation.
IL&FS Skills offers industry specific training across sectors including apparel, leather, service sector, engineering, and construction at exclusive Skills Centres through multimedia content. Our unique skill delivery process begins with the identification of jobs and ends with the placement of trained youth in various manufacturing industries like textiles, leather, engineering, construction and services sector industry.
With the support of Ministry of Rural Development, we have trained and placed over 2,00,000 rural below poverty line (BPL) youth.
